Club SciKidz Houston offers a variety of gaming and video game design camps designed for kids who love video games and want to learn how they’re made.
Campers are introduced to both 2D and 3D game design tools—the same types of programs used by professional developers. Along the way, they’ll learn how to build their own games, explore programming with Java, create animations, and even develop basic mobile apps.
Our programs incorporate platforms and tools from leading organizations such as MIT, RPG Maker, Clickteam, Minecraft, Microsoft, Scirra, and Greenfoot—giving campers exposure to real-world technology in a fun, accessible way.
